Donation Request for Seth Edulji Rustomji Soonawalla Agiary Mahim

Our beloved Agiary, nestled in the heart of Mahim, has stood the test of time for over a century. Originally constructed on May 26, 1913, along Lady Jamshedji Road, it later found its new home at NC Contractor Baug on June 26, 1971.

With the divine blessings of Ahura Mazda, our Agiary continues to be a beacon of faith and devotion with Yajeshne, Nirangdin Kriyas and Navar ceremonies being performed in our Agiary. Our dedicated priests and staff ensure that these ancient rituals are performed with utmost reverence.

On February 15, 2020, we celebrated the grand inauguration of our fully renovated Agiary complex. Thanks to the unwavering support from Shapoorji Pallonji and Co Pvt Ltd, as well as generous contributions from our community members, our Agiary now stands as a testament to architectural beauty and spiritual significance.

Maintaining this sacred sanctorum is our responsibility. The cost of Kathis and other essential expenses has surged over the years, while donations are lagging far behind. We face a pressing need to raise a corpus for salaries of our devoted staff, Kathis, water, electricity, and municipal charges, property tax and upkeep.

Besides raising corpus, we would also like to have sponsor families who would like to sponsor one month's expense every year (approximate monthly costs would be Rs.75,000/-). This is an immediate need of the hour.

To all Parsi Irani Zoroastrians, we sincerely appeal: Let us come together, to build a robust corpus for the Agiary, safeguarding its longevity and caring for those who serve within its hallowed precincts.
